Finish Return Policy

Our door hardware comes with a natural finish that is incredibly resistant to weathering. f you feel that that corrosion of your door hardware was faster than it should have been, please contact us. We reserve the right to offer a full, partial, or no refund for finish problems. Your location will play into our judgment. All metals exposed to the environment eventually corrode over time. If you feel that your finish has tarnished or corroded at an abnormal rate, please contact us with specific information about your problem.

Returning Manufacturer Defective Solid Bronze Door Hardware

3 Year Warranty

Although Teague Products is one of the sturdiest solid door hardware manufacturers in the world, this policy must be in place. If the you are experiencing a problem that is due to a true manufacturing defect, such as the lock bolt not working properly, your key not fitting properly, or whatever – please contact us.

Our door hardware’s mechanics such as lock functioning, door lever mechanics, knob mechanics, and entry set mechanics are guaranteed for 3 full years after the date of purchased. Make sure to provide your name and we will check our records to make sure that the hardware was purchased within the past 3 years. All customers receive an email at purchase. So if you search your inbox, you should find the original receipt.

If your solid bronze door hardware has a defect caused by Teague Products, we will pay for the return shipping fees. We will gladly replace your defective hardware with a similar product. Your sale will not be refunded with cash. We will instead make sure that your defective hardware is replaced by hardware that is not defective.

NOTE: A tarnished bronze finish does not warrant a refund. Bronze is meant to finish. It’s the nature of that beautiful metal’s aging process

Returning Unwanted Solid Bronze Door Hardware

60 days to return hardware that is non-defective

If you are not happy with you solid bronze door hardware you purchased from Teague Products, then you can return it within 60 days of the original sale. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once products are received your original credit card used to make the purchase will be credited for the original cost of goods [excluding shipping] less any applicable re-stock fees. To receive refunds on returned door hardware, the solid bronze hardware cannot be damaged or installed and, must be in their original containers in new condition with all of the parts inside. As long as the hardware is in great condition, the hardware may be possibly resold. Think about that when you return you non-defective hardware. Return it in a condition that you would want to purchase it. Please be sure to package your items well. Items that are not packed in their original packing or just thrown back in the box usually have to be scrapped and therefore no credit will be issued. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the time we receive your items for the credit to be processed and posted to your original payment method.

There are no refunds on products that have been misused, abused or rendered unless as a result of improper use or installation. All returned items must be returned with 60 days of receipt and must be returned in the original packaging and condition.

Exchanging Our Solid Bronze Door Hardware

3 months to exchange for another kind of door hardware

If you are not happy with you solid bronze door hardware or other hardware sold on this site, you can exchange it within 3 months of the original sale. All exchanges later than 3 months of the sale date will be issued in store credit with Teague Products only. We plan on re-selling the door hardware you are returning. If you return hardware with stripped screws, bent face plates, or other defects caused by your installation technique, we will not issue an exchange. There is a 15% restocking fee for all exchanges and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
